Why We Decided to Homeschool
Everything you ever wanted to know about why we decided to homeschool our children.
With the new school year just gearing up, and with Gabby and I being asked repeatedly about our decision to homeschool—by both random people at Meijer at 11:30 and several repeat askers—I decided it was finally time to provide a comprehensive explanation of why we decided to homeschool.
So, without further ado, I present the exhaustive list and rationale for why we decided to homeschool:

Sure, we have several legitimate reasons why we prefer the homeschool model over traditional public school, but ultimately, it comes down to the fact that we’re the parents, and after careful consideration, we decided that homeschooling is what’s best for our family.
I realize this may come as a disappointment to anyone who was expecting a 53-point manifesto explaining the failures of the American education system.
That’s a different post for a different time.
We just want to homeschool our kids.
